Renaissance Art Club Crest

Club Rules

Participation Guidelines

To ensure fairness and consistency, all members must follow these rules when submitting artwork to the Renaissance Art Club. Accepted formats include JPG, PNG, and WEBP, with file sizes kept under 1MB to guarantee smooth uploads and accessibility for all visitors. Each submission should reflect originality and creativity, echoing the Renaissance spirit of innovation and discovery. Just as artists like Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo pushed boundaries in their time, members are encouraged to experiment with perspective, symbolism, and technique. Offensive or inappropriate content will not be accepted, as our goal is to maintain a welcoming environment that celebrates artistry. By following these guidelines, participants help preserve the integrity of the club and ensure that every piece can be appreciated in the same way Renaissance patrons once admired the works of great masters.

Members are encouraged to explore themes relevant to the Renaissance period, such as portraiture, religious art, and classical mythology. Submissions should align with these categories to make voting and gallery organization clear and engaging. Respect for fellow members is essential—constructive feedback is welcome, but negative or harmful comments will not be tolerated. The Renaissance was defined by collaboration and dialogue, with artists learning from one another in workshops and salons. Our club seeks to recreate that atmosphere in a modern digital space, where members can share ideas and grow together. By participating respectfully, you contribute to a community that values creativity, knowledge, and mutual support. These rules are not meant to limit expression, but to encourage the same spirit of harmony and innovation that made the Renaissance one of history’s most celebrated eras.
